Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Swift Max Securities Safe Deposit Box Centres would like to take this opportunity to inform and reassure you we are placing a high priority on the security of your valuables and of the steps we are taking to ensure we serve and support our thousands of clients in a secure and efficient manner in this unprecedented time during the COVID-19 pandemic. We always have a duty of care towards our clients, staff members and everyone's well-being and safety is paramount.
The situation with the pandemic can change very quickly and we are following official directives and advice and acting quickly as we gain new facts. We are therefore asking all existing and prospective customers to keep a close eye on our website for any new announcements or any changes, we will also keep you updated by email if there is any change.
How you can help and assist us
- We are strictly managing the number of customers allowed onto our premises at any one time. Please limit the number of people accessing your safe deposit box to one account holder only when possible, per visit.
- No Guests will be allowed into the branch unless it is absolutely necessary.
- When renewing your safe deposit box, call us and pay securely by card over the phone or please pay by bank transfer as this is far quicker, and more appropriate, than renewing at our branch.
- Anyone attempting to enter our premises showing signs of COVID-19 will be refused entry. Click here to check your symptoms at NHS 111.
- We have implemented a 'no handshaking' policy on our premises as part of the social distancing guidelines.
- If you wish to make changes to your safe deposit box account or need to see a member of staff, please telephone the branch first and we will advise if you need an appointment. Our telephone number is +447389674240.
Hygiene
- We request all clients to use the hand sanitiser gel provided upon arrival at reception.
- We will request you to maintain social distancing in the reception area with other visitors and keep a distance of 2 metres.
- We actively screen all staff members when they report for duty both in the morning and evening described in the latest NHS advice.
- Staff will continue to wash their hands on a regular basis throughout the day.
- Staff will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when accompanying you to the vault.
- We sanitise our fingerprint readers, viewing rooms, furnishings and surfaces more often during the day to maintain high levels of hygiene using approved products.
- We carry out extended cleans of all client areas on a daily basis.
Security
- Along with other businesses, if we are required to close by the UK Government for a period of time, your safe deposit box will still be protected to the highest security levels and will be our highest priority.
- We have multiple layers of security, which function 24 hours a day regardless of whether we are open or closed.
- In addition to being monitored by different security monitoring centres for alarms and CCTV that are directly connected to the Police, security nominated trained members of staff have access to our CCTV away from our offices.
- The vault door will be locked out on a time lock for that duration of closed periods and cannot be overridden by anyone until the time lock is complete including any new opening hour adjustments.
- We are actively liaising with industry specialist and insurance companies to follow best practices.
Thank you
- We want to thank you for your understanding and cooperation during these unprecedented times.
